OmniSystems, Inc. is a Platinum Sponsor of the 7th Annual Tracy Bare Memorial Golf Tournament.  OmniSystems is a multi-year sponsor at this event for a very worthy cause.

At the age of five, Tracy was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare, cancerous soft tissue tumor prone to children.  Sadly, at the age of seven, Tracy lost her battle with cancer.  During her treatment period, the Make-A-Wish Foundation was able to help make a difference in Tracy’s life, and her family’s.  One of Tracy’s favorite pastimes was riding horses.  The Make-A-Wish Foundation provided Tracy and her family with a much-needed respite from their pain and arranged to take them all to a ranch in Maryland to ride horses and enjoy a picnic lunch for the day.  The family considers that day to be one of the most special days in their lives; one that they will never forget.  The Foundation also provided Tracy her own horse that she was able to visit, take care of, and ride now and then – bringing much needed enjoyment into her life.

This annual tournament raises money and awareness for this outstanding organization that strives to make a difference in children’s lives.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  The Foundation’s website states, “Granting wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions gives them more than an amazing experience. A wish come true has the power to make kids feel stronger, more courageous, and more determined to overcome their illnesses. Many families and healthcare providers believe the wish experience is the turning point in a wish kid's battle against their illness.”

OmniSystems, Inc. is extremely pleased to be a part of the celebration of Tracy’s life, and being able to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  The photo shows the OmniSystems’ employees that participated on its two teams.
