Essential Job Functions
Serve as a technical liaison supporting the Service Level Management Team at PD ALTESS.
Identifies technical requirements for customer environment and provides input to customer and ALTESS project plans.
Gathers and analyzes technical requirements from ALTESS team members including Networking, System Administration and Storage teams in order to clearly communicate with end customer. Responsible for coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. Provides interface between Service Level Management and Enterprise Systems teams to document customer requirements for implementation and sustainment of customer systems.
Uses BMC Remedy system to enter and monitor customer requirements. Participates in customer meetings and clearly communicates project status and technical issues to customers. Analyzes voice/data network needs and assists in complex architectural designs, integration and installations to ensure effective customer network architectures.
Evaluates, tests and documents current network technology baselines for both hardware and software to determine networking needs. Assists in developing technology to be deployed internally for various networks. Develops technical standards and interface applications. Evaluates new products and provides network problem resolutions to create and maintain optimal network solutions. Serves as a technical resource across functional teams to ensure consistent knowledge of network architectures. Prepares requirements, evaluates products and selects local and wide-area networks for large sized projects. Serves as a senior technical resource to assist clients in determining future voice/data network needs.
Reports and monitors system utilization and associated costs to guide moderately complex short and long term information technology investment decisions as related to voice/data network solutions. Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics
Four or more years of experience in voice or data networks
Experience working with network systems and networking principles,
data or voice
Experience working with networking software and hardware
Experience working with proprietary software and hardware

Contract Requirements
Experienced Windows and Citrix system administrator with strong communication skills is required.
Must be able to coordinate technical information across multiple disciplines and communicate clearly to customers.
Must have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing in the across multiple disciplines.
Familiar with ITIL v3 processes, particularly incident and change management. Familiar with MS Project software.

Windows certification such as MCSA
CCA Certified Citrix
