Jr. .NET Developer
Omni Systems, Inc. is a systems engineering, software development and consulting firm specializing in the development and integration of web enabling systems. Omni Systems is looking for a creative junior .NET Developer to develop interactive web based applications. This position requires professionally skilled candidates that are willing to take on responsibility and meet development deadlines. The ideal candidate needs to be a self motivated, independent thinker and able to work well with others. Candidate need to be able to manage multiple concurrent tasks, be highly organized, and possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, or a related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of programming experience in Object Oriented design and development of web-based applications.
Responsibilities will include:
- Design, modify, and implement existing software
- Design and develop front end database applications
- Translate system requirements into system design solutions
- Implement assigned components to specifications and according to project coding standards
- Document and unit test written code
- Develop custom reports and perform routine testing
- Communicate with technical staff and end users to design software applications
Candidates must be familiar with:
- Microsoft .NET 2.0/3.5/4.O
- Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
- Visual Studio 2008/2010
- XML, C#, or VB.NET and SQL programming
- Web development technologies and processes
- Object oriented programming
- Client-Server model
Experience with the following are desired but not required:
- SQL Server Report Services (SSRS)
- Microsoft SQL Server SS1S packages
- Microsoft WCF
- AJAX and web services
- Crystal Reports
- LINQ
